Nice place! Anytime there is the soccer championship ( like Euro or World Cup ) we are going to try the dishes from the winners. We been to Italian restaurant, we tried Argentinians kitchen and now cheers to Spain for great game! So here we are! Trying cafe Sevilla for the first time. The place its self is ok. Inside you can smell so much frying oil, we got seated outside, everything was great, just a sun decided to fry me by the end of the dinner :D Food was good. We had tuna tartare , grilled pulpo ( octopus) - appetizers were ok. Hubby had a lamb skewer with a side of Brussels sprouts ( nothing crazy), mom in law had a lamb chops ( she said it was good , and I had a Traditional Paella SPICY I loved it! It was really nice and yummy! Overall nice! Little things: all the plates were chipped, not enough salt on dishes, my main dish were brought like 5-10 later than my family's, cocktails wasn't really good. BTW! Ladies! Make sure you check the restrooms! They got a bonus for ya ;D ( see my pics for details). I loved it at the end anyway! Thank you!

Delicious food, great service, and very lively atmosphere. To eat, we got: 5/5 Pan con tomate (+ jamón) 4/5 Daily bread (olive bread) - great with the sauce it comes with 4/5 Halibut ceviche 5/5 Croquetas 4/5 Gambas 5/5 Grilled sausages - my favourite thing on the menu! 5/5 Paella And to drink: 5/5 Paloma 5/5 Spicy margarita 5/5 Tamarind paloma Highly recommend. We will be back here next time we are in San Diego. Though their prices are already reasonable as-is, their happy hour prices are even better! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

It's a really fun spot for dinner with live music! I would opt for first floor or outdoor seating on a warm day, it gets hot upstairs! I love all the dishes- they have a good two person special if you wanted to try different dishes and comes with a bottle of wine! Service was fast and friendly. The paella here is cooked perfectly- def recommend.

I enjoy Cafe Sevilla, and I think it's a really fun place. This is a place where you go when you want to listen to live Latin music, go dancing, and have tapas. It is a fun environment, it's a great date night spot, and if you feel like dressing up it's a really enjoyable place to go. There are a couple of things that locals do not enjoy about this place, but that doesn't mean that it might not be the right spot for you. Especially on the weekends and at night, it does take on more of a club like environment. And if you were to sit outside to enjoy your dinner, you are not able to order cocktails. That can be a bummer if you were trying to enjoy more of a quiet night, or just want to get food. I will also say that it is incredibly loud, and that it is fun food but that there are more authentic representations of Spanish cuisine in my opinion that you can get. Go if you are looking for fun and excitement, stay away if you were looking for more of a quiet/romantic/cultural dining experience.

This joint has been on my list for awhile now, and we finally got in to check it out... It was happy hour so we had to try nearly everything! All the food was great, though the garlic sauce was severe! My only criticism is the papas bravas should have been crispy for texture. Ambiance is luxury medieval, service was distracted, and prices were in line with the tourist district... This is my go to tapas joint now, it made the list!

Love to share food? This is an excellent spot! Love live music? Great soothing dinner music played live! Guitar with all types of music! Great food either way lots of flavor. I have been coming here for years! We order lots of shareable appetizers all were do good. 2 kinds of empanadas, ahí tuna tower, queso fundido with chorizo, and French bread with tomato and aioli sauces! You can substitute fir olive bread also. Both are good. Of course we ordered the meat skewers to share. I like a little more salt but the family thought it was perfect but it is coated in a garlic butter that is so good! We have been coming for 26 years! Never been disappointed. Get a pitcher of red sangria! It's so good lots of yummy fruit inside!

Notables: + GRAN CORONAS + could eat anything with their homemade AIOLI + paella + lemon tart + great show, very entertaining + excellent service from NATARA + loved the vibes :) + awesome flamenco dancers and singers! This restaurant is in the heart of downtown, so parking not great. We parked at the lot next to Morton's and walked over, it's about 5-8min. Definitely recommend this show! Worth every penny :)
